Lautzenhiser’s
Four Generations of Excellence
Sara and Leonard “Dutch” Lautzenhiser moved from Nebraska to California during The Great Depression. In 1944, they opened Lautzenhiser’s Stationery and Printing in Oxnard, California. Their daughter and son-in-law Lois and Dal NaDal took over the family business in 1968.
Nancy NaDal, the granddaughter of Sara and Dutch Lautzenhiser, started working in the store when she was 13. Rick Manzer met Nancy in 1973 and started working in her parents’ store a year later. Nancy and Rick were married in 1976, and in 1989 became the third generation to run the business.
In fall of 2024, the company is transitioning to Nancy and Rick’s oldest daughter, Michaela, making this a fourth generation business.
We attribute the company’s longevity and success to dedicated customer service, attention to detail and quality products.
